The 2nd International Conference of the Foundation for Auditing Research is a fact. In the last few days FAR has accomplished to create a safe environment for science and practice to interact with each other on the topic ‘Controversies in Future Audit Quality – A multi-stakeholder perspective’. The feedback we received so far was very positive.

As an result FAR was mentioned in a broad range of media. wrote an article about the conference with the headline: The Public Interest is not always the first priority in an Audit (in Dutch only). Hence, in the Financial Newspaper [FD] an article was dedicated to an interview with the founders of the FAR, Olof Bik and Jan Bouwens, about the Auditing Profession finally opening their Black Box.
