Christian Pietsch is Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He joined RSM in 2018 after serving as Assistant Professor at Saint Mary’s University and as a visiting scholar at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Christian holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Luxembourg. His research focuses on auditors’ and investors’ judgment and decision-making processes, with publications in Behavioral Research in Accounting. Before his academic career, he worked as a consultant at EY and gained experience in audit-related services at PwC.
