Yasemin Zengin-Karaibrahimoglu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the University of Groningen. She earned her PhD in Accounting from Izmir University of Economics in 2010 and previously worked as an Assistant Professor there before joining Groningen in 2014. Her research focuses on sustainability, auditing, corporate governance, ownership structure, and financial and non-financial reporting. She has published in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Journal of Business Ethics. Yasemin also serves as co-editor of the European Accounting Association Newsletter and sits on editorial boards of major accounting journals.
