Nargess Golshan

Assistant Professor

Nargess Golshan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Missouri and previously served as Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky. Her research examines corporate disclosures, audit quality, and the evolving role of technology in accounting, with a particular focus on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to understand communication patterns and their economic consequences. She has published in leading journals such as Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Journal of International Accounting Research. Her recent work includes studies on CEO mental health indicators in earnings calls and the impact of IFRS adoption on labor productivity and wages.
