Prof. Teri Yohn
Professor
Teri Lombardi Yohn is Professor of Accounting and Rebecca Cheney McGreevy Endowed Chair at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She earned her PhD in Accounting from Indiana University in 1991 and a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware. Before joining Emory in 2020, she held faculty positions at Indiana University, Georgetown University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and served as Academic Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Her research focuses on predicting future profitability, valuation, and how accounting information affects information asymmetry in capital markets. She has published extensively in leading journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Contemporary Accounting Research. Teri has served as editor of Accounting Horizons and on editorial boards of major accounting journals. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and has received multiple teaching awards throughout her career.
