Ganesh Krishnamoorthy is a Professor of Accounting at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. He earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Southern California, an MS in Accounting from Bowling Green State University, and a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Delhi. He is professionally certified as a CPA (USA) and CA (India).

His research focuses on corporate governance, audit judgment, and internal auditing, and he has published over 40 papers in leading journals such as The Accounting Review, Accounting, Organizations & Society, and Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. His work has been widely cited and recognized with awards, including the Notable Contribution to the Auditing Literature Award (twice) and the Innovations in Auditing and Assurance Education Award from the American Accounting Association.

Professor Krishnamoorthy has served as an invited speaker at national and international forums and on editorial boards of major accounting journals. His research has influenced policy discussions at institutions such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)
