Jaco de Vos MSc RA CISA is a PhD researcher at Nyenrode Business University and is affiliated with the Center for Accounting, Auditing & Control. His research focuses on IT audit and its interaction with the financial audit, with particular attention to cybersecurity and the growing reliance on IT systems.

He obtained his master’s and post‑master’s degrees in Accountancy from Nyenrode and completed a post‑master’s in IT Auditing & Advisory at Erasmus University. Alongside his academic work, Jaco de Vos works as a manager audit and IT auditor at Van Ree Accountants. At Nyenrode, he is active as a thesis supervisor and second reader in the Bachelor Accountancy program.
