Reggy Hooghiemstra

Professor

Reggy Hooghiemstra is Professor of Financial Reporting and Corporate Governance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Erasmus University and an RA degree from the University of Groningen. His research focuses on corporate governance, board processes, non-financial reporting, and the role of culture in auditing and accounting. He has published in leading journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, and European Accounting Review. Reggy is also co-founder of BoardResearch.org, which studies boardroom behavior and governance dynamics.
