Rosemarijn de Bruin is a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen. Her research focuses on the interplay between management control systems and personality characteristics in auditors, exploring why control practices do not have the same effect on audit quality for all auditors. She is part of the Accounting Research Programme at Groningen, which emphasizes management accounting, control, and auditing. Rosemarijn’s FAR research project is titled “Auditors aren’t cut from the same cloth”, examining behavioral differences among auditors and their implications for audit quality.
