FAR053 – Data collection in progress

Machine learning and other forms of advanced data analytics are playing an increasingly prominent role in the auditing profession. These technologies enable the analysis of large volumes of data and support auditors in a wide range of tasks. As their application in practice continues to expand, interest has also grown in gaining a deeper understanding of how these technologies are used and what impact they have on the audit process, both in professional practice and in academic research.

Through this study, we hope to contribute to a better understanding of how auditors use technology, as well as to the further development of effective audit methodologies and the responsible implementation of innovative technologies within the auditing profession.
