FAR Research Masterclass on 6 December 2018, 2-4 p.m. at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in Breukelen about “The (changing) economic perspectives on auditing” by Robert Knechel, Professor for Accounting at the University of Florida and academic board member of the Foundation for Auditing Research.

In this research masterclass Robert Knechel shared and discussed with us why he thinks auditing researchers should reconsider the main economic paradigms underlying current auditing research. Based on his lecture in the doctoral program of the University of Illinois shortly before the masterclass, we believe this masterclass was essential to accountancy researchers willing to challenge and sharpen the underlying theoretical underpinning of their (future) research.

The FAR Masterclass was especially of interest to (junior) research fellows in auditing and research interested audit practitioners.
